Congratulations to JLW Community Partner CFLS!

Congratulations to JLW community partner Community Family Life Services on being named the 2014 non-profit of the year by the DC Chamber of Commerce. 

Community Family Life Services has provided housing, case management, employment counseling, mentoring, youth development, and emergency services to low-income and homeless families since 1969. Since its inception, the organization continues to expand its impact and now services over 1,300 people each year. This year, CFLS was featured in the 2013-2014 Catalogue for Philanthropy-Greater Washington as one of the best community-based non-profits in the Washington region. This distinguished honor is awarded to charities that display the highest degree of excellence in terms of financial sustainability and overall impact in the community.
